Concept and challenges: A guideline for use of signage was developed by the collective to create a strong visual identity with the goal of restoring an understanding of human scale to the campus. Graphic principles have been applied to a unified way finding strategy throughout key spaces of the surrounding campus. Clear identification of public spaces is applied to subways, departments, subsectors, businesses and building entries, shops through signage identity. It is hoped that a greater urban understanding of the relationship of campus to city is brought to light.
