Mandate: Create a Aquabrass kiosk for the tradeshow KBIS 2015
Realisation date: 2015
Distinctions: innovation booth award, Las Vegas, 2015
Concept and challenges: The huma design mandate was to design a kiosk for the Aquabrass Company at the annual KBIS 2015 Plumbing Show in Las Vegas. The premise, prescribed by the client, was to work a geodesic concept inspired by the structure of the biosphere, icon of Montreal, allowing a high visibility of the brand on 360 degrees.
The development of the structure of the dome, the restoration and the highlighting of it allows the space to define itself by integrating its environment.
Marked with a large transverse gesture, the course is organized on both sides of the central axis, segmented by multifaceted displays with clean lines. In order to respect the brand's language, the use of barn wood was recommended on the exterior facets of the displays, contrasting with immaculate white interiors. The Aquabrass booth was awarded first place in the KBIS 2015 '' Innovation Booth Award ''.
